DiscipleShip Cove: Christian Education Program for children ages Pre-K through 5th grade. Currently there are two classes: a class for ages post-nursery through 1st grade; and a class for grades 2nd through 5th. 'Little Cove' meets during the sermon portion of the church service and 'Big Cove' meets after the service during the Adult Education Hour. Volunteers are needed to teach and to assist in both classes. Redeemer requires two adults in the classroom for security purposes. A background and CPS check are required. A DiscipleShip Cove Sunday School class for ages 2nd through 5th grade meets after the service during the time of adult education. Leaders- Marissa and Alex Kassir
Nursery: Childcare for infants to toddlers who are potty-trained, at which time they graduate to DiscipleShip Cove. Nursery is provided during the Sunday service. 2 volunteers are needed at all times. A background and CPS check are required. Leader- Ann Durham firstname.lastname@example.org
Deaf Ministry: We have several adults skilled in ASL and available to interpret for our community Deaf friends and visitors (adults and children). Currently, we are providing interpreters on the 4th Sunday of each month for the worship, sermon and Sunday School. We hope you can join us! Care Ministry: At Redeemer, we recognize that life’s journey contains joys and challenges. The Care Team strives to provide a helping hand and a listening ear. Some examples of care are providing meals, recruiting manpower during a move, supporting families, as needed, when they welcome a child into their lives, or when they experience a death of a loved one. The Arsenal: Redeemer’s youth group for grades 6th through 12th. High School meets most Sunday evening for Bible study and fellowship. Arsenal also meets during Sunday School time each Sunday morning and has regular events. (see calendar for scheduled events) Leaders- David and Katie Clark
Worship Team: A group of talented musicians that provide music for our Sunday service. A variety of talents: guitar, drums, piano, vocals, etc. Also, the group provides sound set-up for the service. Leaders- Iivo Sitterding (music and vocals) -Ron Furbish (sound)
The Silas Project: TheSilasProject is a fellowship of Christian men who seek to live a life of authenticity, humility and recovery from all forms of sexual addiction--specifically recognizing the unique scars many men are currently bearing as a result of internet pornography. We challenge each other to believe the incredible news that God actually knows us and restores us to himself. We strive to remind one another that our identity is found in Christ and that truth has the power to transform us.
Women’s Ministries: The Redeemer Ladies hold periodic Bible studies, brunches, tapas nights, retreats, etc. It is a group of women who love the Lord and seek to grow together while seeking to share God’s grace with the community. Leader- Contact Office
Hospitality: Provides set-up and clean-up of coffee, bagels, and communion. Leader- Dot Frett
Outreach/Event Team: Ensures that visitors are appropriately welcomed and provided information about Redeemer. Provides follow-up with new attendees in order to minister to their needs and provide an avenue for them to become involved and to get acquainted with those in the Redeemer family. Website/Technology: Manages the website and technology in the church. Provides set-up and management of technology for services. Leader- Ron Furbish
Discipleship: Provides mentorship to church members who wish to strengthen their relationship with the Lord and deepen their biblical knowledge. Leader- Barry Durham
Missions: Our missions ministry exist to reach those who are distant from God with the life transforming message of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Redeemer currently supports missionaries in Japan and RUF College Ministries and also provides support to local ministries such as PIN, Crisis Pregnancy Center, and more. Leader- Roger Pence
Prayer Warriors: Ensures that prayer needs of the congregation are met. Leader- Ryan Rico.
